Fernandez was formerly a Managing Director with BearingPoint, Inc. (NYSE: BE ) a leading global management and technology consulting firm, providing strategic consulting, application services, technology solutions and managed services to Global 2000 companies and government organizations. Prior to BearingPoint, he spent 16 years with Xerox Corporation in positions of ascending responsibility, culminating in a role as Vice President of Business Development of Public Sector Operations for the North American Solutions Group. That 850 member Group generated $700 million in revenue for Xerox by providing marketing, strategy and solutions sales to Federal, State and Local governments. He was responsible for contract support and pricing for seven Xerox Business Units, including the Federal, State and Local, Higher Education and the K-16 market place.
